There shall be no limit on the number of Members.

Each Member of the Group shall be over 16 years of age
on January 1st. |
| 3. |
The purpose of the Group draw is to raise funds in order
to help the Orchestra to further the cause of amateur
music making in the widest sense. |
| 4. |
Each Member of the Group will pay a subscription of 20
pence weekly as a lump sum of £10 for the year in advance
and will, by so doing, undertake to continue his/her Membership
for not less than one year (i.e. 52 weeks). Cheques should
be crossed made payable to ‘'THE CHARNWOOD ORCHESTRA”.

Under the terms of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976,
"no monies received for or on account of a ticket
or chance may in any circumstances be returned".
Under the terms of the same Act the amount of the proceeds
of a lottery appropriated for the provision of prizes
must not exceed one half of the whole proceeds".

Each Member will receive a numbered Membership card, the
number of which will be used in the Group Draws.

| 7. |
A Member may purchase more than one numbered Membership
card.

| 8. |
The Draws will take place at the regular meetings of the
Orchestra. Each Draw will be made by a Member of the Orchestra.

PRIZES. a) There will be a Draw for a prize of £10.00
for each week in the year, (i.e.. 52 prizes of £10.00
each). b) There will be a Draw in addition for 11 months
for one prize of £25.00 and one of £20.00 c) There will
be a Draw in addition in the 52nd week for one prize of
£50.00, one of £25.00 and one of £20.00. d) If there be
less or more than 250 Members, the size and/or number
of prizes may be reviewed. |

Prizes will be
forwarded promptly to winning Members without the need
to make a claim. Lists of the winning numbers and names
of winners will be available from the Promoter on request
