Sarah, living in Newark, has an 80 mile round trip
to rehearsals! Fortunately for C.O. she persuaded
Ros (cello), Helen (violin) and Ceris (violin), all
from her area, to join too, so they share a car and
manage to get to most rehearsals.
Sarah has been an estate agent since 1986 and is currently
owner and director of St Marks Properties, Newark.
Sarah has been playing violin in C.O. since the New
Ross/Dublin tour in 1999. She was brought in to make
up numbers but she had "such a fantastic time"
that she joined as a regular member. She also plays
with Boston Sinfonia, Rutland Sinfonia, a string quartet
and an electric quartet (that uses Ceris's electric
Bridge Instruments).

Sarah
says "I think the distance we travel to play
regularly with Charnwood shows what a great, friendly
orchestra it is.
I've made loads of good friends who all enjoy getting
together musically and socially within the atmosphere
generated by C.O."
