Veronica joined the orchestra for the tour to Dublin,
and couldn't drag herself away from the friendly atmosphere.
She plays violin, both in the firsts and in the seconds,
sometimes at the same time!
For a living, Veronica teaches at a local high school
where she is Head of Performing Arts. She says "Basically,
I attend loads of meetings where, after a full day
of dreadful noise in the music room, I fall asleep."
Like so many of our members, Veronica is married to
another member of the orchestra. Adrian also plays
the violin.
She comes from a musical family and her son plays
the cello.

When asked about her other hobbies, Veronica said
"What hobbies? I'm a teacher!!". However,
she did admit to loving visits to the theatre to see
plays and opera, and at weekends (when not playing),
she is to be seen up a ladder with a paint brush,
renovating an 1860 Victorian ruin that she and Adrian
bought recently.
