More Magic of Vienna
So successful was Charnwood Orchestra’s Magic of
Vienna concert last January that the orchestra has been
persuaded to return to Barrow to give a second taste of
the glorious (and often very funny) music of the Strauss
family and other familiar composers of the waltz, the
polka and the march. You will again be transported to
the lavish surroundings of 19th century Vienna with such
gems as the Champagne Polka (complete with waiter serving
champagne), “Wine Women and Song” waltzes, Tritsch-Tritsch
Polka and, of course, the Radetzky March.
The concert starts at 7.00 and there will be an interval
bar.
Tickets, including a reception glass of bubbly or juice
will cost £10.00 (£8.00 concessions) and £3.00
for accompanied children under 16.

Last year’s concert was a sell out so don’t
assume you can buy tickets on the door.
